Kimball (Gregg), Marion (1925-2016)

Mrs. Marion (Gregg) "Ronnie" Kimball was born in Cambridge. She was the daughter of James D. and Adele (Chandler) Gregg and former wife of the late Peter R. Kimball.

 

Marion was raised and educated in Wellesley Hills. She later graduated from Skidmore College in 1946. Ronnie remained at home to care for her six children and later worked for the Abbott Shoe Store in Topsfield for many years.

 

Marion was past President of the Women's Guild at the Topsfield Congregational Church. She was twice elected as Topsfield Library Trustee and was past President of the Topsfield-Boxford Community Club. She was also the coordinator of the local cancer drive for many years.

 

Ronnie passed away February 17, 2016, at the age of 91. She was survived by six children, Linda "Kim" Patch and husband Roger of Topsfield; Gregg R. Kimball of Nantucket; Jerry S. Kimball and wife Peggy of Newfields, NH; Jay D. Kimball of Plymouth; Dana P. Kimball of Kittery, ME; Holly Evers and husband Joe of Charlestown. She was also survived by 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late James and Chandler Gregg.
