Topsfield Town Library featured in the Media

Page history last edited by Topsfield Town Library 10 years, 4 months ago

From time to time, the Topsfield Town Library and staff are featured in different media.  In 2013, photos of the 1794 Topsfield Library Society bookcase and Circulation Assistant Christine Manning were included in the article "Something Old, Something New: Libraries of the North Shore Embrace the Past and Welcome the Future" (photo essay by Eric Roth/ text by Charlotte Roth) in Northshore: Best of the North Shore (September/October 2013; vol. 13, issue 6).

More recently, Anne Barrett (Vice President of the Topsfield Historical Society) wrote "A Look at Topsfield's First Library" which was published in the TriTown Transcript on Friday, January 9, 2015.  The article discusses the establishment of the Topsfield Library Society in 1794 and the titles housed in the original bookcase located in the Topsfield Town Library's periodical room.
