Purple Heart Community

Topsfield Selectmen proclaimed Topsfield a "Purple Heart Community" at the Veterans' Day ceremony held on Topsfield's Veterans' Memorial Green, November 11, 2013.  The town, approved by  the Military Order of the Purple Heart, will annually observe August 7th as Purple Heart Day in order to recognize residents who were killed or injured in the line of military duty.
